Vicki Gunvalson On Divorce: "We Tried"

Vicki Gunvalson wants to move on. The Real Housewives of Orange County star spoke to UsMagazine.com exclusively about why she filed for divorce from husband Donn on Monday.

"We tried," Vicki, 48, told Us. "It's just too hard on both of us."

She added: "It is amicable and we want to keep this as private as possible."

Gunvalson also addressed the split on her official Facebook page.

"Donn has been an important part of my life and he will continue to be," she wrote. "I would like to thank all of you for the outpouring of love and support that we have received."

Vicki and Donn wed in 1994; although they have no kids together, her children from her first marriage, Michael and Briana, lived with them in their home.

Considering the hell I'm sure he had to put up with for over 16 years, a good guy like Donn Gunvalson should be a better man after divorcing this selfish nutcase. Somebody needs to call "The Bachelor" people and see if they need anybody because Donn's not going to be on the market for long.
